I recently spent a rejuvenating night at the Greyhound while on my way up to Scotland. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by Tom, the manager, who made me feel welcome in a cozy, unpretentious environment. The rooms were comfortable, making for a peaceful night’s sleep. The next morning, I enjoyed breakfast, which was reasonably priced—definitely a good value for the area. The sun terrace offered a lovely spot to relax with a cup of coffee afterward. Though my stay was brief, I appreciated the chance to unwind in the tranquil gardens. For those looking for more activity, I noticed the property had options for hiking and darts. If you’re seeking a place to socialize or simply a relaxed stopover, the Greyhound has that friendly atmosphere. For a quick escape, it serves well, but I’d recommend extending your visit if you can. Just a thought for those looking to recharge amidst their travels!
